Compare two requests

Selecting one row, Ctrl-clicking another, and reading the diff of variables and response. Narrated, with sound. The dark and light versions follow the site's theme.
  1. Select an HTTP row in Traffic.
  2. Ctrl/⌘-click another row.

Wireglass shows the Query, Variables and Response of both side by side, with changed values listed by JSONPath, for example $.data.user.name "Ada" → "Grace".

  • Ignore extensions and timestamps is on by default so only real differences stand out. Untick it to see them.
  • Swap exchanges the two sides.
  • Close, Esc, or picking a detail tab ends the comparison.
  • Compare with previous operation in the command palette does the same from the keyboard.

WebSocket rows can’t be compared.
