Filter, search, copy and export
Narrow the list
Section titled “Narrow the list”- Filter box: every word must appear, in any case. It searches operation names, endpoints, status, queries, variables, request headers and responses (or WebSocket messages). Only the first 1,000,000 characters of a response are searched.
- All / HTTP / WebSocket: the counts show how many operations of each kind match the rest of the filter.
- Type list: Queries, Mutations, Subscriptions, Persisted.
- Errors only: GraphQL errors, HTTP 4xx/5xx, requests with no response, and WebSocket errors.
The filter’s words are highlighted in the selected operation, each code block counts its matches and scrolls to the first, and a dot on Request, Response, Headers, Messages or Connection shows which sections hold a match. The filter stays when you clear the list or switch to the client.
Get operations out
Section titled “Get operations out”- Copy as… copies an HTTP operation as cURL (for bash or zsh) or fetch, using the URL and body exactly as the page sent them. A batch member copies the whole batch.
- Export HAR downloads the operations the list shows as a HAR 1.2 file. Each batch is one entry and each WebSocket connection is one entry with its messages. Chrome can import it in its Network panel.
Secrets
Section titled “Secrets”Headers and URLs can hold tokens. Copies and exports keep only format headers (content-type, accept and Apollo client headers) and replace token-like URL parameters (token, access_token, id_token, auth, authorization, header, key, api_key, apikey, jwt, password, secret, signature, sig, session) with REDACTED.
Tick Include secrets to include every header, cookies, WebSocket connection_init params and URLs exactly as sent. The box is unticked each time DevTools opens.
